Protecting the Environment
Nowadays, one of the biggest concerns for people all over the world is the environment. Over the last few decades, human activity has increased pollution and caused serious damage to nature. As a result, it is essential that we take action to protect the planet before it is too late.
Firstly, people should pay more attention to the three Rs: reduce, reuse and recycle. By reducing the amount of products we buy, reusing objects instead of throwing them away, and recycling waste correctly, we can significantly decrease pollution and save natural resources.
Secondly, another effective solution is to reduce the use of private cars. Walking, cycling or using public transport, especially for short journeys, can help lower air pollution and improve people’s health at the same time.
Finally, education plays a key role in protecting the environment. If children learn about pollution and environmental problems from a young age, they are more likely to behave responsibly in the future.
In conclusion, if governments and individuals work together and take these measures seriously, we can protect the environment and ensure a better future for the next generations.
Each paragraph has a very clear purpose:
- Title: It summarizes the topic of the essay.
- Introduction: introduces the topic in a general way and leads into the second paragraph.
- Paragraph 2: discusses idea 1 of the task.
- Paragraph 3: discusses idea 2 of the assignment.
- Paragraph 4: discusses idea 3 of the assignment (your own idea).
- Conclusion: expresses our opinion as a conclusion and summary.
Writing B2 First: Article
The aim of an FCE article is to encourage you to write about a topic you are interested in or know a lot about. For this reason, article tasks are usually based on familiar or engaging topics, for example:

The Internet: A Great Invention
The Internet has completely transformed the way we live and communicate. In the past, it was mainly used on computers, but today it is part of our everyday lives thanks to mobile phones and other devices. In my opinion, it is one of the most important inventions of modern times.
One of the main advantages of the Internet is the easy access to information. We can search for almost anything and find an answer within seconds. This is especially useful when we need quick solutions, whether for schoolwork, work-related problems or even simple everyday questions.
Another great benefit is the opportunity to learn online. Many websites offer courses at a low cost or even for free, which allows people to develop new skills from home. Platforms like online learning websites make education more accessible to everyone.
In conclusion, the Internet offers many benefits, but for me, the most valuable ones are the possibility of finding information quickly and learning new things easily. What do you enjoy most about using the Internet?
